We reached Atlanta at around 10.30 on the 3rd of feb but found out that we had missed our connecting flight to Saint Louis because of the delay in departure from Mumbai. No problem. We just decided to take the next flight leaving at 1.30 and spent time exploring the airport. 

The airpot at Atlanta is huge!! Bigger than any that I have seen atleast. And it was filled with people but it did not feel crowded. 10.30 to 1.30 might seem a long time but we never realised how time went. 

3rd jan 2009

  So we started on journey to USA on the 3rd of january. I don't know exactly what I was feeling. I think I wasn't feeling anything. The journey from my home to Mumbai International Airport itself was very calm and serene. We met up with Chande (henceforth to be known as uncle) at the airport. We were 3 hrs before time of departure so we proceeded through security at a leasurely pace. After check in we found that our flight was delayed. Really delayed ..... by 2hrs 30mins. Man ... were we pissed!! We had to have our dinner at the airport. I tucked into my two sumptious kentucky's southern fried chicken burgers while my dad had chinese and uncle had some Indian food. The wait for the flight wasn't THAT boring. Mainly we survived to get bored another day.
